Beyond Reimbursement: Impact of ICD-10 on Operations

July 25 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am MDT

$160 – $320

The accuracy and adequacy of ICD-10 assignment has a direct impact on reimbursement. However, the impact of ICD-10 coding reaches far beyond reimbursement for a single encounter. ICD-10 coding impacts quality reporting, population/disease management and financial metrics.

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

  •  Identify core areas impacted by ICD-10.
  •  List key metrics for monitoring coding performance.
  •  Implement strategies to improve compliance and financial success.
